  • Out of the 100 companies, 86 are based in the U.S., including 24 from San Francisco, highlighting the country’s dominant role in cloud technology.

  • The Southeast U.S. is represented by influential firms such as Deel and Calendly, reflecting the region's growing contribution to the cloud industry.

  • The list features key sectors like AI with 15 companies, and software solutions with 19 companies, showcasing the broad applications and advancements in cloud technology.

Three FSU faculty members have been elected to ASEMFL: Exciting news from FSU! Three of our exceptional faculty members have been honored by ASEMFL for their outstanding contributions to science and research. | FSU News

  • Three Florida State University researchers 💻—Professors Lisa Hightow-Weidman, Stephen Hill, and Laura Reina—have been elected to the Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine of Florida (ASEMFL).

  • They will be inducted during ASEMFL’s Annual Meeting in Orlando on November 1-2, 2024.

  • Founded in 2018, ASEMFL offers expert guidance on science, engineering, and medical issues affecting Florida and promotes scientific interaction.

Two-day SBIR/STTR Proposal Workshop to help writing project proposals: Join IGNITE FSU's "SBIR/STTR Proposal Writing Workshop" with Michael Tentnowski on September 10 & 11 to sharpen your proposal writing skills. | Workshop

  • Gain insights with an overview of the SBIR/STTR Program, NSF Project Pitch, and participate in intensive proposal writing sessions✍.

  • Engage in structured group conversations, agency-specific solicitation searches, and open writing time to improve your proposals.

  • Held at 1729 W. Paul Dirac Drive, Tallahassee, Florida, the sessions are free and a chance to learn how to secure up to $3 million in non-dilutive funding💵.
