| | |  | | 🚀 New Glenn’s Historic First Flight – A Big Step for Blue Origin. | AOL New Glenn had its first successful orbital launch from Cape Canaveral, carrying the experimental Blue Ring Pathfinder to space. It was a huge moment for Blue Origin, proving the rocket’s potential to send satellites into orbit. 💫 The first-stage booster didn’t make it back for a safe landing on the Jacklyn platform, as Blue Origin had hoped. The company tried to replicate SpaceX’s booster recovery but couldn’t pull it off this time. Even without the booster landing, the mission was a major win for Blue Origin. The rocket continued its journey into orbit and helped set the stage for future missions, including ones for NASA and Amazon. The Blue Ring demo on board could pave the way for a new way of moving satellites in space, with Blue Origin envisioning it as an "in-space Uber." This could be a game-changer for space infrastructure in the future.
