Audrey Alexander recently started her new role as Police Chief on Campus at FAMU Police Department. 👮‍♀️ | Tal Dem

  • “I am both excited and humble to take on this new role and continue serving our campus community with dedication and commitment.” Alexander said.

  • Audrey Alexander was a FAMU alumna, she took her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and master’s degrees in both public administration and adult education at the university.

  • Before becoming Police Chief on Campus, Chief Alexander was a lieutenant in the department. She shared 29 years of experience in law enforcement with the university’s Department of Campus Safety and Security.

  • “She has the necessary qualifications and has demonstrated her commitment to serve FAMU in this important role. With her proven track record of leadership, we have complete confidence in her ability and her vision for ensuring the safety of our campus.” Rebecca Brown, FAMU's Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Finance and Administration, said.

In the seventh match, FSU defeated Florida and finished regular season non-conference play unbeaten for a fifth straight season. | Tal Dem

  • The No. 3 Florida State soccer team (5-0-1) sealed a dominant 3-0 road victory over in-state rivals Florida (2-1-3) in their recent game.

  • The game started with equal opportunities, but Wrianna Hudson was on fire and set up Huff with a pass inside the box. Huff skillfully controlled the ball and secured the goal with a powerful left-footed kick, scoring the first goal within 15 minutes.

  • FSU sealed the victory while Simmond scored her first-ever goal as a Seminole, it happened when Nina Norshie connected with Kameron Simmonds on a front-post run.
