  • Charging the Cybertrucks has proven difficult, especially in northern Canada where Tesla Superchargers are scarce. The team is relying on limited, sometimes unreliable public chargers in remote areas like the Yukon.

  • The freezing Arctic conditions are expected to reduce battery range. 🔋 The team faces potential encounters with polar bears and other wildlife. 🐻‍❄️

Billionaire Jared Isaacman Makes History With First Private Spacewalk. Isaacman and crew completed a successful splashdown off the Florida Coast after a groundbreaking mission. 🚀🌌 | The Pinnacle Gazette

  • Tech billionaire Jared Isaacman and his crew made waves on Sunday, September 15th, marking the end of their historic five-day mission, Polaris Dawn, which included the first-ever private spacewalks conducted by non-professional astronauts.

  • The Polaris Dawn crew, which consisted of Isaacman, two SpaceX engineers, Sarah Gillis and Anna Menon, and retired Air Force officer Scott "Kidd" Poteet, transcended previous records by reaching altitudes higher than any humans have traveled since NASA's Apollo missions. 🛸

  • Their spacecraft, SpaceX's Crew Dragon, hit a peak altitude of approximately 1,408 kilometers (875 miles), soaring beyond the International Space Station and the Hubble Space Telescope.
