Applications are now open for the Spring 2025 Small Business Executive Program in Tallahassee. | JMI LI Post

  • The Small Business Executive Program (SBEP) is well suited for CEOs, entrepreneurs, presidents of small enterprises, and those who are poised to take over leadership roles within businesses.

  • SBEP is designed to assist business leaders in developing their enterprises while managing their demanding schedules. Instructed by industry specialists, participants gain insights into the Business Model Canvas and receive additional resources to enhance their leadership capabilities, making them more strategic, effective, and prepared to seize business opportunities.


Eligibility:

  • Companies must have been operating for three or more years and have three or more employees.

  • Participants must actively own or run a small business.


Program Schedule: Sessions are held every other week for four sessions. Click here to view the complete program schedule.


Application Deadline: The deadline to apply for the SBEP program is November 7, 2024. Notice of Acceptance is on November 21, 2024.

SUPPORTING HURRICANE VICTIMS

💙 Orlando Magic's DeVos family contributed $600,000 to support hurricane relief efforts following the impacts of Milton and Helene. | Orlando Sentinel

  • The DeVos Family Foundation (DVFF) is collaborating closely with the Orlando Magic organization, local partners, and officials to guarantee that assistance is accessible to those most affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton in Central Florida and the surrounding areas.

  • The DeVos family announced a $500,000 donation to the United Way of Florida through DVFF to assist with relief efforts across the state. In addition, Ryan DeVos, the Vice President of Shareholder Engagement for the Magic, along with his wife, Michelle, has pledged a contribution of $100,000 to the Heart of Florida United Way to aid in relief initiatives in Central Florida.

  • “We want Central Floridians and the entire state of Florida to know they are not in this alone,” Magic chairman Dan DeVos said in a statement. “This resilient community has always come together to assist others, and we are so proud to be a part of that support. Our hearts are with everyone who calls Orlando and Florida home.”
