| | | | | Ready for daylight saving time in 2024? We are, too. A favorite time of the year. Here's when it ends and we 'fall back.' 🌞🕰️ | USA Today Daylight Saving Time will conclude on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2 a.m., when clocks are set back by one hour, providing an additional hour of sleep for those observing the change. Hawaii and certain areas of Arizona are the only places in the United States that do not observe Daylight Saving Time. Additionally, some U.S. territories, such as American Samoa and Puerto Rico, do not participate in this time change. The Sunshine Protection Act, which seeks to make Daylight Saving Time permanent, passed the Senate unanimously in 2022 but has yet to be approved by the House, with no current timeline for reconsideration. Fact: Daylight Saving Time was first introduced in the U.S. during World War I to conserve energy.
