No complaint about the speed, but how it tends to cause traffic jams on roads. 🍔🚗 | USA Today IG Post Chick-fil-A opened its first elevated drive-thru-only restaurant in McDonough, Georgia, on August 22, 2024. | USA Today 'Elevated drive-thru' is the second new type of restaurant to open this year. The innovative two-story structure featured four drive-thru lanes, significantly increasing capacity compared to standard locations. A unique conveyor belt system transported food from the upstairs kitchen to team members below, delivering meals every six seconds. Two drive-thru lanes were dedicated to mobile order pickups, while the other two were for traditional drive-thru customers.
