| 🤩 Charlie Ward’s Heisman Trophy On Exhibit. | Leon County Public Library Charlie Ward's 1993 Heisman Trophy is currently on display at the Leon County Main Library, in honor of the County's Black History Month celebration. This special exhibit, The Bronze Legend, celebrates the remarkable achievements of the FSU football icon and NBA star. It will be available for viewing until August 31st, 2025. 🏈🏀 | IG Post Charlie Ward excelled as a quarterback in football and as a point guard in basketball at FSU. In his senior year, he garnered over 30 awards, including the prestigious Heisman Trophy, while establishing 19 school records and 7 Atlantic Coast Conference records. His remarkable performance led the FSU Seminoles to their first-ever National Championship under the esteemed Coach Bobby Bowden. After earning his bachelor's degree from FSU, he was selected as a first-round draft pick by the New York Knicks. He contributed significantly to the team, helping in reaching the playoffs for 6 consecutive years from 1996 to 2001. Charlie and his wife, Tonja, established the Charlie and Tonja Ward Family Foundation in 2015. Their mission is to create a lasting legacy of giving back by promoting youth character development through sports, arts, education, and wellness. 💝

Established in 1995 in Australia by a team of engineers and later acquired by Danfoss as a wholly owned company, it has since expanded to employ 350 people and operates centers in the U.S., Denmark, and China. | Timeline and Key Highlights The company is the pioneer in the development of oil-free, magnetic-bearing compressor technology. Over 140,000 Turbocor compressors have been installed globally as more customers are turning to these solutions to reduce their carbon footprint and energy usage. 🍃 “We are proud of the success of the Turbocor compressor technology and are looking forward to the next 30 years,” said Kristian Strand, president of Danfoss Commercial Compressors. “Turbocor compressors have transformed the HVAC industry and helped thousands of customers reduce their carbon footprint and energy consumptions, a central part of Danfoss’ mission.”

| 😲 Vanderbilt University has recently revealed new renderings for its upcoming campus in West Palm Beach. | Vanderbilt University Vanderbilt University is making progress in creating a groundbreaking graduate campus in downtown West Palm Beach, showcasing new renderings focused on business, data science, and AI, along with a cutting-edge innovation center designed to encourage collaboration among startups, investors, established businesses and academia. The proposed master-planned campus, designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects from Boston, is set to cover around 300,000 sq. ft. on 7 acres of donated land, with a total investment of $520M. Vanderbilt has pledged to invest a minimum of $2.4B over the next 25 years and $5.3B over the next 50 years into the campus and its associated operations. The fundraising campaign for this initiative is already in progress, aiming to raise $300 million to kickstart the first phase. | Florida of Tomorrow Construction on the project is expected to begin by 2029, or possibly even earlier. The first phase will involve Vanderbilt creating a $300M facility that aims to produce a minimum of 4,500 construction jobs, enroll at least 900 students, and hire 200 full-time faculty and staff within 5 years of its opening. “We are delighted to share these renderings and our vision for a West Palm Beach campus,” Chancellor Daniel Diermeier said. “The images show that we are planning a unique learning and research environment that nurtures collaboration and innovation and is sustainable in all senses.”
