| | | 🚦 The “Super Roundabout” project, designed to improve traffic flow in Tallahassee, is still underway 15 years later and is now projected to cost around $70M. | WCTV News Initially planned in 2010, the project was delayed in 2019 after the estimated cost doubled. The plan includes widening parts of Crawfordville Rd. and Woodville Highway, with some sections becoming one-way, according to Greg Slay, Executive Director of the Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency (CRTPA). | MSN An additional $12M to $13M will be needed for land acquisition, and construction costs are expected to reach $56M. Although the project has support from the CRTPA, no timeline has been set due to its high cost. Slay confirmed that the project remains on hold until FDOT secures funding, with funds previously allocated redirected to road resurfacing. On that similar note, a recent town hall was held to talk about Thomasville Rd. Project which had mixed reviews from the business community as it may negatively impact foot traffic to businesses along that road (WCTV).

Restaurants are not required to publish results, however Tal Dem releases reports to inform the public. It was helpful to learn that some may pass one day, or not pass and make improvements to then pass in a follow-up inspection. That’ll keep restaurateurs on their toes and held accountable. 🔎 | Tal Dem
These restaurants passed all criteria during their inspections from April 15-21, 2024, with no violations reported. For the most recent updates and full restaurant inspection details, visit this page. |
