Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic (TOC) was founded in 1974 by Drs. Doug Henderson and Tom Haney, making it the first medical practice in North Florida focused solely on orthopedics. TOC physicians serve as the Official Team Physicians of FSU athletics, FAMU athletics, and TSC athletics. They recently announced the grand opening of its cutting-edge Spine and Joint Surgery Center, along with the appointment of Kelby Tardi as the new Chief Executive Officer. 🤩 The Spine and Joint Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgical Center focused on providing top-notch care for spine and joint issues. The facility is a collaborative effort between TOC and HCA Healthcare. “The Spine and Joint Surgery Center represents a transformative step in orthopedic care for our region,” said Dr. Matthew Lee, Spine Surgeon and Managing Partner at TOC. “This facility is a testament to our commitment to providing the highest level of care, combining advanced surgical technology with a patient-centered approach to achieve the best possible outcomes.” The new CEO, Kelby Tardi, has been with TOC for 25 years, previously served as CFO, and has played a key role in the clinic's development and achievements. “I’m honored to step into this new role and continue TOC’s legacy of excellence,” said Kelby Tardi. “Our focus remains on innovation, patient care, and supporting the communities we serve. 🔑 Q4 2024 Highlights: Net income available to common shareholders was $178.8M, or $1.25 per diluted share, up 6% sequentially, and up from $60.6M in Q4 2023. Net interest income increased $14.3M, or 3%, compared to the prior quarter and was up $17.8M, or 4%, compared to Q4 2023. Core deposits, which excludes brokered deposits, increased $1.13B, or 3%, sequentially. Total deposits ended the quarter at $51.10B, an increase of $901.6M or 2% sequentially. Non-interest revenue of $125.6M rose 1% from Q3 and increased $74.1M, or 144%, compared to Q4 2023. Non-interest expense of $309.3M was down $4.4M, or 1% sequentially. Credit quality ratios remain healthy. The non-performing loan and asset ratios were both stable at 0.73%; the net charge-off ratio for the quarter was 0.26%, and total past dues were 0.26% of total loans outstanding. Provision for credit losses was $32.9M, up $9.4M sequentially and down from $45.5M in the Q4 of 2023. The CET1 ratio1 increased sequentially to 10.84% as strong earnings accretion more than offset approximately $50M in common share repurchases during Q4.
