Julia attended the SBIR + STTR Lunch & Learn: How to Access $3 Billion in Non-Dilutable Small Business Funding, held at the North Florida Innovation Labs at Innovation Park of Tallahassee last June 26th.

  • With a great turnout, the seminar provided a basic introduction to the purpose, eligibility requirements and structure of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the Small business Technology Transfer Research (STTR) programs.

  • These two initiatives are referred to as the nation’s largest source of early stage, high risk, non-diluted funding for start-ups and small businesses.

  • The class provided helpful information for attendees to determine if they would like to pursue a grant or contract opportunity utilizing SBIR/STTRs.

  • Keep your eye peeled for the next one in Sept. More details coming here soon.
