2024 State of Third-Grade Reading in Florida: This report delves into the latest data on third-grade reading proficiency in Florida, providing an analysis of how well students across the state are meeting this essential educational benchmark. 💯 | Tallahassee Chamber on LI

According to The Florida Scorecard, Florida's 3rd-grade reading scores have increased by 5% points this year, with Leon County seeing a 3% point rise.
Now, 55% of 3rd-graders are reading at or above grade level. 👓📖
The Florida Chamber released the "2024 State of Third-Grade Reading in Florida" report. This comprehensive analysis examines statewide performance and highlights the top 10 "most proficient" counties in 3rd-grade reading, as well as the 10 counties with the lowest proficiency.
