| | | | | 😮 Amazon’s Big Bet on Wynwood: What It Means for Miami. | Brian Gorrita via YouTube Amazon is making a bold move by leasing 50,000 sq. ft. of office space in the upcoming Wynwood Plaza, a massive mixed-use development set to open later this year. ✨ The project is huge, featuring a 12-story building with 266,000 sq. ft. of office space, 509 luxury apartments, 45,000 sq. ft. of amenities, and a 26,000 sq. ft. public plaza—all totaling over 1 million sq. ft. This expansion stands out because Amazon has been cutting office space in other U.S. markets. Choosing to grow in Miami signals confidence in the city's booming business landscape. Wynwood is quickly becoming a business hub, and Amazon’s presence could attract even more major players, further reshaping Miami’s real estate market. With Class A office space in the area renting for $85–$90 per sq. ft., this move could push demand even higher, solidifying Wynwood’s status as a prime destination for companies looking to establish a foothold in South Florida.
