| | |  | | 🤩 Tallahassee ranks as one of the top metro areas in the U.S. for the second year in a row. | OEV The rankings assessed all 410 metropolitan areas nationwide, focusing on key economic indicators such as job growth, business climate, and workforce development. The analysis confirms that Tallahassee-Leon County remains one of the top-performing regions in the country. 👏 Tallahassee placed among the top five for consistent growth and is recognized as one of the leaders in economic strength and a prime workforce. “As we welcome new businesses and residents to our community every day, our economic growth continues to pay dividends and has successfully positioned us nationally as an innovative economic hub, serving diverse and passionate people with a wide range of in-demand skillsets,” City of Tallahassee Mayor John Dailey said. In the last five years, the Tallahassee-Leon County metro area has seen impressive growth in job creation, with 18K+ new positions added. An astounding 97% of these jobs were in the private sector through effective collaborations among businesses, educational institutions, chambers of commerce, and workforce development organizations. “Tallahassee’s rise in these rankings highlights our region’s economic momentum,” Keith Bowers, OEV Director said. “From job creation and workforce development to affordability and business resilience, we create an environment where companies and talent thrive.”
🏆 Tallahassee MSA’s 2024 Rankings: #2 in the South Atlantic Region: Rising from 4th place. #4 Overall Metro Location: Tallahassee jumped five spots to secure 4th place. #13 in Prime Workforce: Tallahassee surged from 82nd to 13th - demonstrating the success of workforce development initiatives and access to top-tier talent. #3 Small Metro Location: Classified as a “Small Metro Location” (population less than 500K). #12 in Economic Strength: Tallahassee remains one of the strongest economies in the nation.

|  | | ⚕️ The return of FSU’s Business of Healthcare Summit. | FSU The summit is part of the FSU Health initiative – an ambitious effort to study, reshape, and deliver healthcare in Florida. FSU Health and the summit leverage the university’s extensive network of alumni and industry partners in identifying shared problems and, more importantly, shared solutions. The event will focus on the changes reshaping the healthcare sector. Key topics will include patient preferences, the quality of patient services, the effects of financial markets, and advancements in technology and its integration. 🩺 The summit is constructed around a panel format, facilitating open discussions from a variety of perspectives and, for even greater depth, Q&A involving audience members. | 2025 Preliminary Program 2025 Business of Healthcare Summit will take place on April 2nd from 8 AM at Augustus Turnbull Conference Center. | Deadline to register: March 26th Register Regular Tickets: $200 | Registration includes breakfast and lunch, as well as any print materials.
